About Eric Lichtenstein M.D.

Eric A. Lichtenstein, M.D. earned his MD from Albany Medical College in 1994 and graduated from the General Ophthalmology residency at New York Eye & Ear in 1998. Following residency, he completed subspecialty training (fellowship) in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Indiana University in 1999.  

As a board certified ophthalmologist and member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Dr. Lichtenstein is a surgical subspecialist in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. As such, he is experienced in the management of amblyopia, strabismus, pediatric cataracts and anything else that can affect a child's eye.

Regina M. Del Rosario, M.D. earned her MD from SUNY Downstate in 2004 and graduated from the General Ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate in 2008. Following residency, she completed subspecialty training (fellowship) in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the prestigious Children's National Hospital in 2009.   Following training she  joined the PediatricEyeMD practice.

As a board certified ophthalmologist and candidate member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS), Dr. Del Rosario is a surgical subspecialist in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. As such, she is experienced in the management of amblyopia, strabismus, pediatric cataracts  and the full gamut of pediatric eye disorders.   Part of the specialty is also treating adults with double vision and/or strabismus.

About Jana

Jana Kuo, M.D. earned her MD from George Washington University in 2005 and graduated from the General Ophthalmology residency at University Hospitals, Case Medical Center (Cleveland, OH) in 2009. Following residency, she completed subspecialty training (fellowship) in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the world-renowned Casey Eye Institute (Portland, OR) in 2010. As a board-eligible, fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Kuo is a surgical subspecialist in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She is expert in the management of amblyopia, strabismus, pediatric cataracts and the full gamut of pediatric eye disorders as well as in the treatment of adults with double vision and/or strabismus.

Rivka Markowitz, O.D. graduated from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2008 and has been working at the PediatricEyeMD practice ever since.   Dr. Markowitz is an excellent clinician and particularly enjoys working with young children and preventing pediatric vision loss.   She is shy about it, but if you ask her to she just might show off her juggling skills.
